NimbostratusSync Group Issue - Custom monitors - K55622762
Hi Folks,
I've hit a bug ID 556284, our GTM's are running on 11.5.3, having 3 GTM's (A,B,C) in sync group. We are planning to add 1 more GTM (D) to the group but its throwing error when we run gtm_add command.

On the article I see no workaround but to go with new release. I was hoping if unbinding the custom monitors from the config of GTM-A, run the gtm_add and then bind the custom monitors back again. Would this route make sense or would this also take GTM-A out completely.
Or if the error is thrown because the new GTM-D is missing those custom monitors, should I take all custom monitors from the config GTM-A and merge them in GTM-D, and then run gtm_add. In this way the error would not arise ?

you might get lucky with an answer here, but if you havent't already i would open a ticket with f5 support, this seems quite a specific issue which the people reading here might not have encountered.

Mmmm a case is open though, I still haven't asked them the work around. They asked me to apply the HF.

I had this fixed. I took the route of unbinding & binding it back. Took some time, but was helpful. Thanks.
