Stream replace performance

Is anyone using stream replace in an iRule on a high volume site? I am curious on what the performance impact a simple stream replace (https:// for http://) would be on the website or the LTM as the connection count increases.

    i've seen customer using irule doing stream replacement but not sure how much traffic volume is.

     

     

    anyway, if u worry about performance, i think using stream profile may be better.
