Stop monitoring traffic
Hi Folks,
I'm so sorry for asking this silly question, but its something I would like to be clear on. I understand that there are 3 modes, enable, disable and forced offline for Pool Members. disable will still hold the active sessions and continue but force offline terminates.
My question is, Is there a way to stop sending monitoring traffic at all for some members which are disabled/forced offline. Note I cannot stop the big3d service for the sake of 1 pool...

You can remove the monitor from the pool in order to prevent monitor traffic from hitting the pool member.
Why do you want to prevent the monitor traffic from hitting the pool member ? If your intention is to prevent the monitor from marking the failed pool member as UP at some point in the future, you can try Manual Resume.

Node specific health monitor can be configured, select none for specific node and remaining be in default inherited from the pool.

Even if it inherits from the pool, it would still send the monitoring traffic for the pool members and check its status, irrespective of disabled or forced offline status. My intention is just to stop sending unwanted traffic in the network. Thanks for your inputs.
