Stop/ Block LTM notification during maintenance window

Hi, We have a active and standby HA LTM pair and we have LTM monitors to check application services on the nodes. The LTM monitor works well but during the nightly maintenance window the services restart and the monitor creates massive spam. How can I control it?

 

Is there any preferred way to block or stop notification from interface or OS level? I looked and could not find any other that changing the OS notification config using a cron schedule.

 

Also we are getting double spam because both Active and Standby unit is sending us emails. How can we restrict only active Unit to send notification.

 

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
