NimbostratusStandby CPU usage
Hi all,
Does anyone know what exactly the standby unit of a HA pair would be doing? No mirroring being done.
I would of thought its not doing much else, but I have noticed quite a high CPU usage on latter versions ~30-60%
Also on version late 12 to 13.1 the standby seems to run hot quite a lot and java process linked to ASM seems to be one of the culprits.
Any info would be great on the duties of what the standby's should be doing, especially if ASM is in use.
Also the CPU graph on the standby unit, once calmed down seem to run low, but then peak to 50-60% for a hour or so and then return to kind of normal once per day.
