SSL Certs on server only (not on BigIP)

(Click here). As you found, you can create a VS on 443 and pool members on 443. If you don't add a client SSL profile or an HTTP profile, LTM won't try to decrypt the traffic. You should be able to take advantage of the PVA if you're not doing any layer 7 processing by creating an Performance L4 VS which uses a FastL4 profile.
