source interface logging to syslog

alright,   looking for some guidance.   running v10.2.4, logging to external syslog server trying to determine what interface is being used to initiate the logging.   any help?   thank...

You can specify an IP address (interface) to send syslog from if you want to control it directly:

Otherwise I believe the BIG-IP will use the routing table (and the corresponding interface) to determine where to send the syslog messages.
