NimbostratusSoftware Upgrade : LTM stopped working
Hello,
I have an LTM which works fine with the image version 11.5.1. Couple of partitions are created and lot of Virtual servers are running fine in this device.
Yesterday I upgraded the image in the LTM to 11.6.1 successfully. I could see all the configuration in the new image. All VS,pool and nodes were up and running. But the LTM was not responding to any load balanced services. I was unable to access/telnet any VIP.
I tried rebooting the device, nothing changed. So I reverted the image back to 11.5.1. Then everything started to work fine.
Can anyone please tell me what would have caused this problem?

Amresh008It sounds weird, but here's what you should try to diagnose the issue.You should run tcpdump, enable the configuration to log causes of RST sent by LTM, and if you have ssl based profiles, you would also need to reduce the cipher strength to NONE. Did you also go through the release notes, it's obvious that the current scenario you are in, won't have been predicted, but yes, there are few things they recommend which come into play. Please raise a TAC case as well.
Did you verify with a ‘tmsh show /sys mcp-state’ that the configuration was fully loaded? If not, run a ‘tmsh load /sys config’ to see where it fails to load the configuration.
