Can we delete the images that are imported after they are installed? or Do we need leave the image under available images?
We see /var is being full, Would the available image be part of it?
what is the best way to decrease the space on /var?

I suggest deleting old images, not existing one (you can delete it, but you can decrease size of /var by other steps).
- clear ucs or qkview files
- clear unwanted items in /var/tmp
- Please check when you done last reboot, it will before 200 days, try a reboot
- remove unwanted files from logs or audit folders
also you can go through this - Disk partition /var (slot #) has only 0% free
