SNMP CONFIG

Dears,

 

can i get some help in snmp config . we got LTM ver 9 . the problem is with default snmp agent setting i can connect and monitor through . but when i delete the default and create my own it does not work at all . i want to monitor through the Mamagment interface . is there any file i need to modify to allow so ? . i did tcpdump the snmp walk comes to the managment interface but no data is comming please help .

    In the GUI, go to System->SNMP->Agent->Access (v1/v2c), then click create, then enter:

     

     

    Type: IPv4/IPv6

     

    Community:

     

    Source: default

     

    OID: .1

     

    Access: read only

     

     

    Then click finished and this should work for you.

    just had the same problem, changing the source to "default" fixed it here.
