SNAT based on destination

Hi -

 

 

I apologize if similar topic has been posted here.

 

We want to do some destination based SNAT. Can someone provide a sample iRule?

 

 

 

1) Source address list - 10.10.7.0/24

 

2) Translated address - e.g. 1.1.1.100 (a public IP)

 

3) Do SNAT when the destination address is any public IP, e.g. Internet

 

4) Do NOT do SNAT if the destination is private addresses, e.g. all RFC 1918 addresses.

 

 

Also,

 

1) should I attach the iRule to the SNAT rule or to the forwarding VS?

 

2) If the iRule need to attach to the forwarding VS, do I still need to create a SNAT using the GUI?
