Simple Forwarder VIP Question

Is a forwarder VIP state full. Do I need to use VLAN allow to position the forwarder VIP on the source and destination VLANs, or just the source VLAN. I always though this was statefull, now I am not so sure.

    A forwarding vip need only be enabled on the vlan from which the connection originates (source). It will allow the response automatically.
