Signature update

Hi All,

 

I am trying to build a playbook for ASM signature update or in some case the policy is moved from one box to another (where the code is different) so want to understand:

 

  1. If I update signature on existing box then what will be the staging period? Will it be same what is mentioned learning period for signature or by default is 7 days? Also, the signature is enforced automatically or do we have manually accepted it? I tried to find but there is no specific link I can find.
  2. Same is the question when I move from v11 to v13 what will be the impact on the signature?

    1. It will be in staging for the policy Enforcement Readiness Period and no, the signature is not enforced automatically, you will need to do this manually.

       

    2. The policy will inherit the signatures part of the assigned signature sets. Any custom signatures are lost.
