NimbostratusSharepoint Office Web Apps and APM - Does not load Document first attempt
In relation to this post, we are experiencing an issue where we have co-located the office web apps and SharePoint virtual servers into one to protect the office web apps with APM and we are seeing that on the first attempt to load a document it will give the "Sorry, there was a problem and we can't open this document. If this happens again, try opening the document in Microsoft Word." error. After you reload or try another document it works like a champ. Any one else run into this issue when trying to protect the Office Web Apps with APM?

- We run ours on two separate VIPs, I would be interested in hearing if you're able to solve this one.
cgallimore_1748Josh, do you have APM disabled for your separate Office Web App VIP? We originally used two VIPs as well, however we did not want to leave the Office Web App VIP unprotected. So I was following MikeShimkus' response in the referenced post above to co-locate the OWA and SharePoint virtual servers but ran into the issue above.- Yeah, no APM profile on our Office Web App VIP, which I understand is not ideal. I've been told that it was setup this way so that Lync could load documents outside of the Enterprise.
