SharePoint iApps integration with existing policy
I have existing virtual server with access policy (BIG-IP APM) to assign different resources (network/application/portal access) using different URI for different services access. The iApps creates application which is not network/application/portal resource. Can I use iApps to configure SharePoint 2016 access to existing virtual server? In addition, the virtual server created by iApps uses different client/server/http profile. Is it not recommended to use single virtual server for both generic resource access and iApps application access?

Hi,
I recommend to use a dedicated virtual server for Sharepoint Apps, if you want to enable Office Apps authentication with this code or the light version included in version 13.1 (ofba irule).
If you are able to manage virtual servers in BigIP, the Sharepoint iApp doesn't make sense, Sharepoint virtual server is really simple to configure. Look at the iApp deployment guide Appendix B : Manual configuration tables.
