Sharepoint 2016 without APM shows only RO word documents

The problem is not "APM or not APM"!

 

The problem may be a sharepoint authentication issue through bigIP!

 

What authentication is configured on sharepoint application?

 

Do you have an authentication popup? or is it a form based authentication?

 

If it is kerberos / negotiate, did you check that kerberos will work with the new IP address? (DNS A record moved to F5 VS, F5 VS configured as DNS PTR to sharepoint app SPN, ...)
