sharepoint 2010 installation and F5 load balancing

I am installing sharepoint 2010 for the first time with a hardware load-balancer in the mix. How do I configure AAM or whatever redirect is necessary to get it to work with the F5. Right now the site...

Thank you for the help. I read the deployment guide on f5.com What I meant by AAM is Alternate Access Mapping. I am wondering if there is something I am missing in how that mapping is set up. (that is included in the f5 set up)

 

I am getting a 404 page not found error off the server if I try to access the page from Intranet.

 

The test server I have renders the same content from the Intranet, so what is happening is related to the three-tier farm and the load balancer. There must be a redirect of some kind or a AAM configuration that I am messing up, but I can't find anything about it. Neither can my network guy.

 

Any ideas?
