session persistence timeout value

Hello all,

 

 

So I have a a persitence profile setup and under configuration have the custom field enabled for expiration along with session cookie enabled. My understanding is that this will allow a user to bypass load balancing upon future visits and get sent directly to the server they were last on, correct? Where might I find the value for how long this persistence is good for, is that even configurable or does it depend if the user has deleted the cookie or not?

    To check persistence do "b persist node IP show"

     

    From GUI go to OVERVIEW - STATISTICS - PERSISTENCE RECORD

     

    If user will delete the cookie persistence will fail - try plugins Cookie Watcher and LIVE headers in firefox.
