I am new to these rules and was looking for a way to have

 

 

this url show to the user www.sitename.com/search/thisloc/file/item.txt,

 

but point to something like www.sitename.com/search/?thisloc=file/item.txt

 

 

IS this posible?

    Hi,

     

     

    You can rewrite the URI before sending the request to the pool member in the HTTP_REQUEST event using the HTTP::uri command (Click here).

     

     

    If you provide a few more examples of the original and rewritten URIs someone can give you a more detailed example.
