Serial Output Logging
Hello,
I noticed in LTM 11.2.1 release notes that the serial console output can now be logged by the AOM.
"Serial output logging
Always-On Management (AOM) version 10.1.13 now saves the recent contents of serial output from the host across host reboots, even when no serial console is attached. The system writes contents to log files on both the AOM and the host, either after a host reboot/power event or at a user's request. Note that this feature is not enabled by default. To enable it, you must manually change and restart the hostconsh script. "
unfortunatly I was not able to find more ie. how to "manually change and restart the hostconsh script" .
Any ideas ?
Thanks, Pierre

from /bin/hostconsh
Notes - we have to exec the aomconsh By default, the host serial console buffer is disabled. To turn it on for troubleshooting purposes, just manually remove the "-u" option in the command line below, and restart this script. exec /bin/aomconsh -u -b $baudrateShould I just remove -u ? where is the log stored ?
- Danny_Epperson_Historic F5 AccountThe logs can be viewed from the AOM menu or /var/log/boot.log

Please see https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/pg-10200v/1.html Section "About the host console capture buffer" for the official method to enable the AOM console logging buffer feature.
