Secure SMTP connections using TLS with LTM v10 and Outlook 2007

I'm having some issues with connections from Outlook 2007 fat clients configured to use TLS on port 587.

 

I see a TCP handshake (in TCPDump) but no SSL handshake, instead I receive a S>C TCP RST in SSLDump.

 

 

When configured to use SSL on port 587 they work fine and an SSLDump shows them negotiate SSL Version 3.1 (sometimes referred to as TLS v1.0) and cipherSuite TLS_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA.
