Script to parse domain name out of script and direct response to correct AD

Hi

 

We have a web app that integrates with our corporate LDAP however doesn't pass the user account AD domain only their username and password!!! It can therefore take upto a minute to recursive through all our AD (about 30 of them) to authenticate the user.

 

We have a F5 LB and was wondering if we could script something to parse the domain name our of the credentials that are sent over and point that to the correct AD to authenticate?

 

The username is built up as domain_name\username

 

 

Does anyone have a script that can do this?
