Saving change to iRule as a VIP resource?

Hi Joe,

 

 

I just noticed that when using the iRuler to add/remove an iRule to/from a virtual server, the change isn't saved to the bigip.conf file.

 

 

I tried clicking Save on the rule and a few other things in the iRuler interface, but I couldn't figure out a way to write the change to the VIP definition to file. I think it would make sense to write the change to file when clicking OK on the iRule "RULE NAME" Information window.

 

 

I tested with version 0.9.1.4 against a 9.3.1 and 9.4.6 unit with identical results on both LTM versions.

    Wow, not sure how I missed that original post and I never caught that bug. I think it's true for the Data Group dialog as well. I'll get it coded and post a new setup later this week.
