Does it work to append the payload to the request and then retry it? I don't think HTTP::retry will allow you to resend a request with post data (as nmenant noted in this post Click here).

 

 

I think it would be more efficient to redirect clients to the new location instead of having LTM send the request itself. Of course, if the original request was a POST with data, the post data would be lost. Though I believe that's already the case with HTTP::retry.
