RPC Persistance, with changing IP address
Hi,
I am trying to work out the best way to do (RPC TCP/135) persistence without using source address. My users are roaming on different wireless APs and changing IP addresses.
Is there any examples of iRule RPC persistence I could look at with a universal persistence rule ?
Many Thanks G

Is there something clear text in the payload that is unique to each user? You could use an iRule to inspect each packet and search for something specific. The overhead could be high though. Ignoring that, will this actually be useful. I presume when a user's IP changes TCP/IP will RST the old connection and establish an entirely new one which will cause failures anyway no?
I assume your wireless setup is pretty basic.
