Routing of mgmt traffic

Helloz,

 

 

I have a scenario ,

 

 

no default route for mgmt traffic via the mgmt interface

 

specific route for ntp server thro the mgmt interface

 

normal default route for tmm traffic via the tmm interface

 

 

still am able to access the device via tha mgmt ip , i thot it was due the auto last hop , however after turning it OFF , still i was able to access the device on the mgmt interface with no route back to my pc...( my pc and the mgmt subnet of the ltm are in diff subnet )

 

 

i havent had the chance to run tcpdump yet

 

any pointers ?

    Cold you post the output of a:

     

     

    netstat -r

     

     

    Also presume you are connecting from a different subnet to the IP of mgmt interface (with nothing natting you in to that subnet inbetween)?
