Routing LTM data traffic among 2 interfaces
Ankur, In your scenario, is interface 1.1 tied to vlan1 and interface 1.2 tied to vlan2 ?
By default, the BIG-IP won't route between subnets unless there is a virtual server directing it to do so. If you had a scenario like this: vlan1 (1.1) - self 10.10.10.0/24 vlan2 (1.2) - self 20.20.20.0/24 and you wanted traffic to go from vlan1 to vlan2, then you would create a forwarding virtual server where the destination is the subnet tied to vlan2.
Virtual Server: Destination 20.20.20.0/24 type forwarding.
That would allow traffic destined for 20.20.20.0/24 to follow the routing table.
If you wanted to limit it to only traffic FROM vlan1 can go to vlan2, then in that virtual server, enable it only on vlan1.
