Jun 16, 2010retransmission interval for SYN
Is it possible to set this ?
I saw a server behind sNAT take 4.5 seconds to respond to a SYN because it was busy. before sNAT the windows client would have silently handled this. with sNat the f5 resets the user connection as it's 3 SYN retries seem to be 250ms apart

TcpMaxConnectRetransmissions
Key: Tcpip\Parameters
Value Type: REG_DWORD - Number
Valid Range: 0 - 0xFFFFFFFF
Default: 2
Description: This parameter determines the number of times that TCP retransmits a connect request (SYN) before aborting the attempt. The retransmission timeout is doubled with each successive retransmission in a particular connect attempt. The initial timeout value is three seconds.
