REST API version for BIGIP 11.6

I would like to utilize the REST API for Load balancers with BIGIP 11.6. Is there a specific version of API that is compatible with 11.6 or can I use the latest version of iControl REST irrespective of BIGIP version?

    Hi,

    Each BIG-IP version has its own API version installed.

    There are usually few changes beyond many improvements in each version.
