Resolve IP address, of a domain name based on IP of the origin.
I have several web servers hosted in different geographic sites, we want to direct users to the nearest server.
I have several web servers hosted in different geographic sites, we want to direct users to the nearest server.
Initially, I thought of doing a VS in which through iRule I check the origin of the client and forward the traffic to a certain pool, or to another according to the analysis of the origin Ip. (I'm not sure it's the right thing to do)
But I've been reading about BIG-IP DNS and although I'm not sure if it will serve my purpose, I'll send you the query. Surely one of you could shed some light. Thank you.
Greetings.

Hi,
BigIP DNS manage geographic load balancing with DNS service.
when a client send a DNS request for to his local DNS, this local DNS request company.com for this request.
your public DNS server must respond with a NS answer including IP address of each BigIP DNS server.
then, the local DNS follow this answer and will request one of BigIP DNS for
the selected BigIP DNS will check policy (for example topology based on source IP country, continent, ...) and answer with the best virtual server IP

Try to run your own authoritative DNS server at home. namesilo config will point NS for mydomain.com to your X home server. Now you just need to get a https://www.buyassignmentservice.com/ dynamic DNS updating X to your home IP.
