NimbostratusReplacing hardware from one platform to another for LTMs which are currently configured on GTMs
Hopefully someone has experienced this. We are swapping out our 6400's running 10.2.4 with 4200v's running 11.4.1. The 6400's display the VIPs in GTM without "/Common/" and I noticed that 11.x versions display VIPs in this manner, /Common/virtual_server. Will I need to remove the current units from the list of servers, run the bigip_add script and configure any wideIP that is associated with the pair of 6400's?

donmon_10187I will add, the unit self IPs are not changing. The device names and management IPs will be the only things that change.- donmon_10187
Because of the name change of the units, we had to remove the old LTMs from the "Servers" and also remove them from the "known_hsots" fine in /var/ssh/root/known_hosts. Configured the LTMs and executed the bigip_add command. Pool members had to be reconfigured as well.
