May 12, 2010Replacing an ISA Server ?!?!
Hi all,
I'm trying to replace all the functions of my client ISA Server 2006.
One of the functions i stucked on, (problably there will be more), was the url re-wirting function.
In example:
When the ISA Server receives a connection to the site www.mysite.com (in the ISA rule, will be the folder "Public Name"), the ISA Server it self's will make a new connection to the www.anothersite.com, where on the remote site equipments the source will be the ISA.
This is quite different from what i have been reading in other posts, where, the url was just re-writed or redirected.
The main issue here, is that the final url, could be changing the ip, where i cannot simply apply a pool to deliver the requests from the clients.
The Big-IP have to make a querie to some DNS (external or internal), and then make a new connection to that site, working as a proxy.
Is this possible ?
