Replace HTTP Server with F5
It's going to depend on any special logic that the IBM HTTP server is performing, assuming it's not JUST load balancing. I think a good place to start is with a packet capture. Load up a browser-based tool like Fiddler or HTTPWatch and compare (from the client's perspective) what the HTTP communication looks like with and without the HTTP server. It's very likely that either a) the HTTP server is applying some logic that you'd have to replicate on the F5, or b) there's simply some URL that isn't getting translated or communicated correctly. You should see that in the Fiddler capture.
Bottom line, there's no deployment guide (that I'm aware of), and a solution will depend on doing a little work on your end. But it should be totally possible.
