We have to rename the VCMP guests in our viprions. Instead of recreating the guest completely, we are planning to detach the VM disk from old guest, rename the Vm disk (from /shared/vmdi...

NimbostratusThanks guys. I have opened a case with F5. They suggested not to rename the vmdisk from bash shell as it may result in unexpected behaviour(tracked under ID 348502).
Currently there is no way enabled in TMSH to rename vmdisk.
So they suggested to recreate the guest.
