We have to rename the VCMP guests in our viprions. Instead of recreating the guest completely, we are planning to detach the VM disk from old guest, rename the Vm disk (from /shared/vmdi...

CirrostratusNot sure about the renaming. There is no tmsh command to do that. The same vmdisk can be spanned/synched between different slots. I guess you would run in troubles with a manual renaming from bash. As boneyard, I suggest opening a support case (maybe they have a procedure for that). Without the renaming thing, it's pretty straightforward.
