Rename partitions/move VS between partitions

This also depends if you are using Route Domains and if you link them to your partitions. But besides this, renaming would only be possible via the corresponding conf-files. And although I'm using this kind of method for changing existing config quite often, I would not recommend it for renaming partitions. I would create a new partition with the correct name instead. And then copy & paste all required items between the conf-files and make the required adjustments(starting with version 11 each partition uses its own bigip.conf and bigip_base.conf file in the /config/partitions/-subfolder). At the end verify all with "tmsh load sys config verify" before really activating it. And you should backup your original files in case something goes wrong.
