Remove Master Server from GTM Sync Group
Hello,
I'm looking to get some advice as to what steps to take on removing GTM appliances from an existing sync group, including the Master Server. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
M

May we know what are you planning exactly.
Ex: Like an upgrade, reboot or service restart, planned network maintenance,,, something or other.
Also yea the above article helps you as well.

I'm looking to decommission a couple of our current GTM sync group members. I was primarily looking for some information on caveats or other "gotchas" to ensure any function the master server currently serves is seamlessly migrated to other members that will remain in the sync group. Critical things to verify/validate prior/after, etc.

Its pretty much same as your upgrade method I'd say.
- Take GTM out of sync group
- Disable Listeners
- Disable Interfaces
And when you add a new GTM to the sync group, its the reverse of above, obviously with other pre-checks done.
