Is there a way to have a user in multiple groups and multiple access levels to different partitions, like guest in one partition and manager of another? Specifically we are trying to use remote group authorization with MS AD.

You may want to check if remote role groups meet the requirement.
This under:
System ›› Users : Remote Role Groups

I would like clarification on the answer to this question. We have already setup remote groups through and AD authentication. It works so that anyone in a specific group can be tied to one partition and one role. But what I would like to know is can we configure multiple partitions to the same group? - nitass

i do not think it is possible in the current release.
