Regarding CPU utilization on BIG IP F5

HI guys suppose I have 3 application server, suddenly one application server starts getting more connection lets say 8k to 15k but CPU uses on BIG IP is less, and those who are getting an 8k connection on both rest application heaving more CPU utilization on BIG IP. In between application server, i have BIG IP. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
