Jan 05, 2006Redirects based on max connections
I am a bit new to irules on the 4.x platform, so here is my n00b question.
I am currently running 4.6.2 in my production environment.
We have an application that can only handle 4000 concurrent connections per web server.
Is there a way I can have my BIG-IP monitor the number of non-idle connections to the web servers and redirect when each reaches that max?
Thanks for any input that can be provided.

- Colin_Walker_12Historic F5 AccountThere is a connection limit field in the node configuration on your BIG-IP. Each node can have a connection limit set, and once it has that many connections established, it will be removed from load balancing rotation until it drops below the threshold.
This can be configured in the Node Properties section of your GUI.
