redirect traffic when link fail

Hello all,

I'm new at iRules and i would like to know if it is possible to do the following:

I have 4 ADSL link and a ISP link connected to my link controller. My load balancer balances internet traffic to ADSL link and production traffic to my ISP link with NAT(to the publi IP address). My question is: when ADSL are down, is it possible to nat the internet traffic like the production traffic to the ISP link? Thenm I will still have internet access thanks the ISP link?

I looking for a irule that does the nat for production traffic to the ISP link, does nothing and forward the internet traffic to ADSL link according internet traffic criteria and then nat internet traffic to ISP link when ADSL links are down..

Thanks for your help.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do this. If the ISP traffic is already being NATed, then failing the ADSL traffic over to that VIP should carry that config over to the ADSL traffic, which would respect the new, NATed address when trying to return.
