redirect to a different site

I figured this has been asked 1 million times by my searches come up empty. I probably do not know how to phrase it.

 

 

I want to create an irule to do redirect to a vendor site, but have it look like my domain.

 

 

www.mydomain.com/update actually goes to downloads.myvendor.com.

 

 

As apposed to just a straight redirect to the vendor site, I want the browser to maintain www.mydomain.com/update

 

 

Does this make sense?

    What it sounds like you're asking for is the ability to proxy connections to downloads.myvendor.com, along the lines of an apache ProxyPass Have a look at this:
