Use floating Self IP address on the F5 devices - this is similar to HSRP/VRRP and this floating IP will be owned by the active device. Virtual Server IP will be the same between the 2 boxes. Upstream router needs to know the Floating Self IP address that it needs to send traffic intended for VIP (VS IP addresses).
