Recommended LTM firmware - 9.x or 10.x?

My client is running a cluster of LTM 6400 in from of an Oracle 10g system. The BigIPs are currently running version 9.4.5. We are planning to update the firmware and would appreciate suggestion as to what is the best version to move to. Should we stay at 9.x (9.4.8) or move to 10.x (eg 10.2)?

    Hi Jim,

     

     

    My recommendation is that we engage with the F5 solutions engineer for the account work with you and the customer to conduct an assessment and make an informed recommendation. I suspect that we'll conclude that we should move to 10.2, but I think due diligence is prudent.
