Configuration and Installation of multiple redundant pairs

Hi we have two 3900 in a active passive config and the synchronization goes over a mgmt vlan, we are now in the process of installing two edge gateways also 3900 and i was wondering whats bets practic...

if existing traffic is not much, i would use the existing one.
