In versions TMOS 12.X and earlier, only NSAPI and ActiveX mode was supported for RDP.

 

  • ActiveX is only supported on IE
  • NSAPI was available for Firefox, chrome. those browsers doesn't support anymore this feature.
  • Edge never supported both modes.

Starting with TMOS 13.0, a new mode "Native" support RDP on any browser and requires a MS-RDP client available on Windows 7, 8.X, 10, Mac OS X and IOS.Requires anmstsc update on Windows 7.
