RDP Session APM

I have APM configured for RDP session connections. All works well except if the session is disconnected, leaving the desktop active. I cannot reconnect to the desktop until I connect to it some other way and perform a disconnect.

Seems I have a session still alive somehwere, maybe apm isn't aware of it and won't let me connect back to it or start a new session.

Any ideas on where to start looking?
