question about getting hsl data to be formatted properly in splunk

as seen in the picture, your hsl output string is not in correct json format
json should be like this: {"name":"John", age:30, 'aaaa':null, 'ipaddr': "1.1.1.1"}
you can use either 'aaa' or "aaa" for enclosing string
