question about connection mirroring

So, I inherited a set of BigIP LTMs. The configuration on them was incorrect, I believe I've got everything working for a redundant pair including config sync and have done some failover tests. The units have been moved into production. I've worked with these before, mostly at a network level but I'm learning more and more ( irules etc.) Anyway, my question is this: When I run the command "b conn mirror show all" on my active unit I get a nice long list of connections it should be mirroring to the stand-by unit. When I run the same command on the stand-by unit, I get no data. Is that correct? Shouldn't the data appear basically the same on both units?

P.S. I have done a search on the forum for the command (with no results and all data I'm finding on askF5 is not relevant to my question)

    If you have mirroring configured and the data unit1 indicates it is mirroring is not available on unit2, that is not right. Are both units on the same version of code? I'd open a support case on this one, they are in a much better position to help with issues like this.
