QQ on node vs members

I am using C to get member status and current connections for nodes but found that there are less number of pool members than number of nodes.Are they not supposed to be equal in number?

    I'm not sure why you'd want to, but you could define a node (an IP and name) without using the node in a pool. When you add a new member to a pool, a corresponding node is created automatically.
